There are a few ideas that i have for my studio shots, that require nothing outrageous. For the close up shots i had something simple in mind like a computer chip.
For my glass ware i was thinking something simple like test tubes. I could even go to the effort to put coloured food dye in the tubes to represent chemicals. Even something as simple as a coffee mug with books behind it. I also did happen to notice their was a interesting image done with a light bulb. When i was surfing around the ANU's book shop web site, i found they had a lot of chrome things like pens and badges. To demonstrate camera movements i could lay somethings like books across the table in a various fashion.
Looking at costs, somethings might be a bit expensive. The computer chip i could get from a old electronic device from Vinnies for a few dollars. The glass ware might be a bit hard to find, If I look around at thrift stores I am sure I will be able to find something cheap. Food dye wouldn't be to much, most likely 5 dollars or so. The chrome ware I noticed on the ANU website was expensive, pens where like 30 dollars. Books will be easy to find i can just borrow some from the library for the day.
Equipment I would need, Studio flash, flash equipment i.e snoot, flood light ect ect, Hasslebald and the Hassleblad tilt shift lens, props as i mentioned earlier, backdrops, tables and maybe a few colour gels.
Things that I need to do, put my name down on the booking time slot for gear!!!
